I'm happy to announce the upcoming 2nd edition of my on-line International Idrija Lace Design course, starting in October 2022.
The course is held in English and is a combination of 10 weekly Zoom meetings at 8.00 p.m. (UTC + 01:00), on either mondays or Wednesdays (final date will be set once the group is assembled) and individual pattern corrections via email.
Course topics range from free-flowing tape-lace patterns and drawing with cores to the motif, colored and 3d lace.
Main technique used is the narrow cloth stitch (characteristic of Idrija lace) so basic knowledge of the tape-lace technique is wellcome.
