Spring edition of my on-line Idrija Lace Design course begins in March 2024.
The course is in English. It consists of 10 weekly live Zoom meetings, each followed by individual pattern corrections via email.
We draw by hand. No particular drawing knowledge or skills are required.
Main lace-making technique used in the course is the narrow cloth stitch (characteristic of Idrija lace) so basic knowledge of any tape-lace technique is welcome. Course topics range from a simple free-flowing tape-lace design to drawing other lace techniques, repeating patterns, motif lace, colored and 3d lace.
The course takes place on either Mondays or Wednesdays at 8.00 p.m. (my current (winter) time is UTC + 02:00).
Price/person: 150,00€.
